How much information do I need to give about myself?

In order to purchase online you will need to supply us with the following;
  • Surname and first name
  • your email address
  • Delivery address and billing address [ these may be the same]
  • contact phone numbers

How do I register?

You can register an account by clicking on the YOUR ACCOUNT button at the top of the web page.and follow the steps from there.

What happens to my details when I register?

An email will be sent to your email address to confirm the registration of your account. Your details will remain private and are confidential.

Do you have all the clothing / items in stock?

Yes we do, however the clothing is also for sale in our retail outlet, so there may be the odd occasion when it sells in the store so will not be available from the site.  We endeavor to keep the web-store as up-to-date as possible.

What are your delivery terms?

Free delivery now to North & South Islands!

New Zealand North & South Island: Allow 2 working days

AUSTRALIA, USA, UNITED KINGDOM, EURO ZONE, ASIA: Allow 5 to 28 days.

PBTand FASTWAYS couriers are used to deliver within New Zealand.

NZ Post is used for deliveries to the rest of the world.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do. There is a flat rate option using NZ POST.

Flat rate to Australia: $8.00  A maximum of NZ$8.00 is all you pay.

Flat rate to USA: $10.00  A maximum of NZ$10.00 is all you pay.

Flat rate to United Kingdom and The EU: $10.  A maximum of NZ$10.00 is all you pay.

Flat rate to Hong Kong, Singapore & Japan: $10.00  A maximum of NZ$10.00 is all you pay.

We will ship to the following: Australia, USA, The European Union, East Asia.

International customers also have an option of a courier/tracking service.  These charges will be shown at check out and are determined by weight.

Other countries and regions will be added later in the year. 

The New Zealand Goods & Services Tax [GST] is removed for international buyers providing the shipping address is outside of New Zealand.

All pricing is in New Zealand $ and are GST inclusive for New Zealand residents.

International customers are responsible for the duties and taxes of the destination country.

Can I give a PO Box as my delivery address?

No sorry, Couriers do not allow PO Box addresses for delivery, preferred address would be a business address - ie place of work

Which payment methods can I use?

There are up to 3 ways to pay for online purchases

1.  You can pay with your VISA or  MASTERCARD

 Your payment details have the security offered by Paystation Limited, a fully AIS PCI DSS compliant Paymark Certified Solutions Provider (CSP), using 128-bit SSL encryption. Credit Card or Pago Wallet details will be sent directly to the acquiring institution for processing. No card or wallet data is available to or used by the merchant. You will be issued with a receipt number at the end of your transaction.'   VINTAGE HEAVEN will appear on your statement.

2. PayPal

Choice of many currencies, also can accept AMERICAN EXPRESS. You do not have to have a Pay Pal account for this payment method.

VINTAGEHEAV will appear on your statement.

3.  You can also pay using DIRECT BANK TRANSFER. The details of this procedure will be given in the checkout process.

 DIRECT BANK TRANSFER can only be used by customers with a New Zealand bank account and the goods must be sent to a New Zealand address.     

Purchases placed using the Direct Bank Transfer method must show within 3 days of the order being placed. After this time frame the order will be cancelled.

Do you save my credit card information?

We do not keep credit card information on file, we have no access to it.  Your credit card information goes through a secure payment gateway supplied by PAYSTATION or PAYPAL (depending on your choice) 

Will you put something on hold for me?  

Sorry we no longer put items on hold.


How do I choose the correct size?

Taking accurate measurements when it comes to some of the clothing items on this site is vitally important. Different brands that we stock manufacture their garments using various size ranges. This site has a  'Size Guide'  Page. 

Sizing charts are also available on the product page.

Can I place an item on Layby?

YES you can.  Lay By is for a maximum period of 40 days. A minimum 25% deposit is required.

Are the products on this website available immediately?

Yes, all the products listed on the site are kept in stock here in Nelson. We do not drop ship.

 What is your Returns/Refund policy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it can be returned to us in the original condition* (see below) within 14 days of the receipt and we will
  • Exchange it for another item/s.
  • Issue a credit certificate for the amount of the item for you to use immediately or at a later date (up to 1 year)
  • Issue a cash refund using the original payment method. A 10% re-stocking fee will apply
Shipping costs are not re-fundable.
Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Vintage Heaven complies fully with the Consumer Guarantee Act (New Zealand)

Be mindful that the majority of returns occur because of the customer choosing garments that are too small.  Please use the sizing charts and a tape measure before choosing.

Earrings are not returnable
No refunds are given on courier/shipping charges.

Please inspect your purchase as soon as it is delivered.


* All clothing must be returned in the same condition as sent- unworn with the original tags intact. Anything returned with stains,soil marks, missing or altered tags, broken zippers, tears, smoke, body or perfume odors, pet hair, make-up, snags or pulls will be returned to the purchaser.

We do not sell dresses or skirts with jammed zippers or/and broken teeth. They come from a factory with zippers intact. They do not break or jam during delivery. We will not accept returns for a broken zipper. If you break a zipper trying on a dress you will have to have it repaired.
